Lg g6 camera review. LG G6 test: an elegant smartphone with a huge display. ⇡ Communications and wireless communications

The last few years have not been the most successful for LG's mobile division. The LG G4 model with a leather back cover received a cold reception from buyers, and the LG G5 was completely confusing with an ill-conceived module system. At some point, it even seemed that LG would no longer be able to get out of this series of failures in the smartphone market. However, at the Mobile World Congress 2017, the company presented a new flagship - LG G6. From the very first look at this model, it becomes clear that it continues the proud tradition of thin-bezel design established by the G2. But what about the other specifications of this smartphone? Let's take a closer look at the capabilities of the LG G6, and try to figure out whether this model can help LG regain lost ground.

Design and materials

The front panel design of the LG G6 is built around a 5.7-inch display, which occupies almost the entire front panel of the smartphone. And in this case, this is not an exaggeration at all; the frames around the LG G6 screen are really small. In this regard, it resembles the company's most successful models: G2 and G3. This “return to basics,” in my opinion, only benefited LG; the company abandoned the idea of making a modular smartphone and focused on what is easier to convey to consumers. And a relatively compact smartphone with a large display is exactly what you need.

With the G6, LG has largely moved away from the latest smartphone design trends with a focus on rounded shapes. At least the front panel glass is completely flat here, and the metal frame even creeps over it a little.

The back of the body of the LG G6 is no less expressive than the front, and not least thanks to the unit with two cameras, as well as a power button with a fingerprint scanner. Together they look as if the smartphone is very surprised to see you. However, the cameras, flash, and fingerprint scanner are located symmetrically, and given the successful colors of the case, the back side even looks stylish.

By the way, the LG G6 will be available for sale in three colors: classic white and black, as well as platinum. Considering the glossy finish, they are all quite easily soiled, but this will be least noticeable in white and platinum colors.

There are no control keys on the front panel of the smartphone; they are virtual and located at the bottom of the display. Traditionally for LG, in the settings you can change the appearance of the panel with buttons, as well as their position and color.

On the left side there are volume keys; they protrude from the body, so they are quite easy to find by touch.

On the right side you can only find a slot for a nano SIM and a memory card. It is hybrid, meaning you can use either two SIMs or one SIM and a microSD card.

On the bottom edge there is a microphone, a USB Type-C connector, and an external speaker.

At the top end there is another microphone and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The case dimensions are 148.9 x 71.9 x 7.9 mm, which is only slightly larger than models with a diagonal of 5-5.3 inches. For comparison, the dimensions of last year's flagship Galaxy S7 are 142.4 x 69.6 x 7.9 mm.

The body materials of the LG G6 are simple at first glance: glass and metal. But in fact, they are more diverse than they might seem. The fact is that the company used Gorilla Glass 3 protective glass for the front panel, Gorilla Glass 5 for the rear panel, and Gorilla Glass 4 for the camera unit. LG does not explain this approach, however, this does not affect the consumer properties of the smartphone in any way . Gorilla Glass 3 has the same hardness as new generations of protective glass, and is second only to them in strength. However, this did not stop the LG G6 from passing 14 laboratory tests for durability according to the MIL-STD 810G standard. This means that the smartphone has increased shock resistance, vibration resistance, and can be used by the US Department of Defense as well as NATO.

In addition, the LG G6 has protection against water and dust according to the IP68 standard; it can be lowered into water to a depth of 1.5 meters and for up to 30 minutes.

Display

The LG G6 has a 5.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2880x1440 pixels (564 ppi) and an aspect ratio of 18:9. Traditionally for LG, the screen displays high-quality images with wide viewing angles.

According to our measurements, the maximum display brightness reaches 422 cd/m2, the minimum is 3.3 cd/m2, and the contrast is 1681:1.

The screen provides more than 100% coverage of the sRGB color space, but by default its color rendering is quite “cool”, it is at 7450K, but this can be corrected by activating the “blue light filter”. The latter has three gradation modes, as well as the ability to switch the display to black and white mode.

The LG G6 display supports HDR 10 technology, which makes the image in video more saturated, but this only works in Netflix and Amazon Prime Video applications.

Non-standard aspect ratio does not affect the display of Android applications, at least not current ones. They can be scaled to a 16.7:9 aspect ratio, in which case the navigation keys and status bar are displayed, or to a full 18:9 screen.

The latter is relevant for games, but not all of them adjust correctly to this aspect ratio, so more often you have to run them with black bars on the sides of the screen. The same applies to watching videos. However, you quickly get used to this feature of the smartphone.

The LG G6 also has a feature to show information on the locked display.

This can be time, notification icons, or arbitrary text.

Platform and performance

LG G6 is built on the Qualcomm platform with a Snapdragon 821 processor operating at 1.6 and 2.35 GHz, as well as Adreno 530 graphics. In addition, the test version of the smartphone had 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded another 256 GB using a microSD card. As mentioned above, the card slot is hybrid. Wireless modules include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 with A2DP support and aptX HD codec. The A-GPS/GLONASS/BDS module is responsible for navigation.

The Snapdragon 821 is a fairly “cold” processor, so even under load the LG G6 practically does not heat up.

Today, the Snapdragon 821 no longer shows the most outstanding results in synthetic tests, but this has absolutely no effect on the speed of the smartphone. This is still one of the top platforms and its performance will be enough for several more years.

Interface

The LG G6 runs on the Android 7.0 operating system with LG's proprietary interface. It allows you to flexibly customize the display of desktops, choose the style of icons and change design themes.

You can, for example, place all applications on desktops, or hide them in a separate menu. You can also customize animation, change the font and the number of elements displayed on desktops.

The drop-down notification shade traditionally contains a quick settings panel and brightness adjustment, while pulling it down reveals more options.

By default, the smartphone settings are divided into tabs and are quite confusing, but they can be switched to list view mode, which is closer to the look of the standard settings in Android 7.0.

There are quite a lot of pre-installed applications in the LG G6. There is a built-in file manager, a utility for cleaning RAM and temporary files from the drive, a QuickMemo+ note-taking program with support for synchronization via Google Drive or Evernote, a task list, as well as LG Health with a pedometer and the ability to track exercise. It is also worth noting the audio recording application, which allows you to do this with quality up to 24 bit/196 kHz and save in FLAC.

Thanks to the 18:9 aspect ratio, the LG G6 makes it more convenient to work with two programs in one window; they display more information.

To do this, from the multitasking menu, you can minimize the application to one half of the window, and the second to the other.

This is convenient when you need to have additional information before your eyes.

Fingerprint's scanner

The fingerprint sensor is located on the back of the LG G6 case, immediately below the camera unit. It is not very large, but it is located well, so the index finger of both the right and left hands rests on it when you take the smartphone.

The scanner works quickly, and you just need to place your finger on it to unlock the display. It supports adding up to 5 prints.

Cameras

The LG G6 has two main cameras. One 13 megapixel with f/1.8 aperture, three-axis optical stabilization and a viewing angle of 71 degrees.

And the second one has the same resolution, but an f/2.4 aperture and a wide-angle lens with a viewing angle of 125 degrees.

In good lighting:

In poor lighting:

A camera with a regular lens takes better pictures at night, but a wide-angle one is very useful if the subject does not fit into the frame. In general, the quality of the images is at a good level.

The front camera in the LG G6 is 5-megapixel with an f/2.2 aperture and a lens with a viewing angle of 100 degrees. In the camera menu, you can manually switch from wide-angle to portrait mode.

Audio

In Ukraine, a version of the LG G6 will be sold with a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad digital-to-analog converter, thanks to which the smartphone sounds really great.

There is only one external speaker in the LG G6, its volume is average, apparently the protective membrane from water affects it, but it is enough not to miss a call or notification. But the earpiece is really loud, you can leave it at less than half the volume and your interlocutors will be perfectly audible even in noisy places.

The LG G6 has FM radio, so when you connect headphones, you can listen to your favorite radio station and even record audio from it.

In general, the smartphone’s musical capabilities are very wide and in this regard it is one of the best on the market at the moment.

Autonomy

The battery built into the LG G6 has a capacity of 3300 mAh. Unfortunately, the PCMark battery life test gave an error on the smartphone, so all three attempts to run it ended in failure. In everyday use, the smartphone provides more than a day of battery life with more than 6 hours of active screen.

This includes background synchronization, the use of instant messengers, social network clients, 30 minutes of calls per day, an hour in games and YouTube, and an hour of listening to music. That is, you can actively use your smartphone all day and not worry that it won’t survive until the evening. This is a good result for a battery of this capacity. In addition, the LG G6 supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging and charges via the USB Type-C port.

Site evaluation

Pros: design, materials, build quality, protection according to IP68 and MIL-STD 810G standards, display, performance, cameras, built-in 32-bit digital-to-analog converter, autonomy, fast charging

Minuses: easily soiled case, high price

Conclusion: LG G6 is a new flagship smartphone with a 5.7-inch display that occupies almost the entire front panel. This design originates from the LG G2, one of the company's most successful smartphones. Considering this fact, as well as a generally good set of characteristics, we can say that after a number of not the most successful smartphones, LG managed to create a truly interesting product. And even though this year the competition among flagships is higher than ever, the LG G6 has something to stand out from them. The strengths of the model include a large display in a relatively compact case, two cameras with good image quality, a built-in DAC, and case protection according to IP68 and MIL-STD 810G standards. The LG G6 has virtually no downsides, and the only serious one for Ukrainian consumers will be the high price of the smartphone, which is generally typical for flagships from A-brands

In the near future, sales of a flagship smartphone will begin. For example, in the US, pre-order deliveries began on March 30. Numerous reviews give the device high marks: for example, the Phonearena portal rated it 8.7 out of 10 possible points. The advantages of the device include modern design and camera.

If you use the G6 smartphone for a few weeks, you begin to get to know its interface, functionality, settings and quirks. As a result, readers can get acquainted with fifteen interesting features of this device.

  1. How to enable Always On Display

Like before it, the new smartphone has an Always On Display screen feature, but it is not striking. By default the function is disabled and you need to open Settings > Display > Always On Display and turn it on manually. As a result, part of the screen in standby mode will be highlighted, showing the time, date and battery charge, as well as notifications. The downside of this function is the increased energy consumption, by about 1% per hour.

  2. Quickly open the notification panel

Among the advantages of the LG G6 is its comfortable position in the hand compared to other devices with 5.7-inch screens. Despite this, it is difficult to reach the top of the screen to open notifications. As a solution, you can edit the location of the buttons on the screen. Open Settings > Display > Home screen touch buttons > Key shortcut, here you can drag and release the buttons as you wish. Place the notification button in a location that is convenient for you.

  3. Changing the size of the on-screen keyboard

Most users will be happy with the way the keyboard looks by default, but others may want to scale it down or up. Open Settings > General > Language and Keyboard > LG Keyboard > Keyboard Height and Position > Keyboard Height to change its size. Additionally, you can turn on vibration when you press the buttons so that you can feel with your fingertips that the press has taken place.

  4. Camera settings

The LG G6's camera app has a wide range of settings, but some are disabled by default. For example, the Tracking Focus setting, which focuses even on a moving object. You can also enable a gallery that shows thumbnails of your last five photos. The Grid setting helps you shoot more accurately, aligns the horizon, etc.

  5. Energy Saving Settings

All smartphones have some form of energy saving feature. By default, the LG G6's power saving mode is activated manually in quick settings. You can also make it turn on automatically when the charge level drops below a certain level, such as 15%. This is done at Settings > General > Battery and Power Saving.

  6. Editing the Switch Panel

Like every Android smartphone, the LG G6 has a notification panel that includes a number of switches that can be used to change frequently used settings. This list can be edited by changing the arrangement of tiles. For example, you can place a flashlight in the most visible place, and remove the NFC communication switch that is not being used completely. Clicking the three dots in the top right corner allows you to hide the screen and file sharing buttons when you're not using them.

  7. Enabling LG Health

The LG Health app is located on your home screen in a folder called Essentials. Among other things, it gives advice on how to stay fit or reach your weight goals. The program can also track your daily activity. A smartwatch could collect data more accurately, but if you don’t have one, LG Health will do. The application does not record data unless you open and configure it.

  8. Replacing the weather widget on the home screen

The default weather and clock widget does its job fine, but if you go to the widgets screen by swiping down the empty space of the home screen and selecting Widgets, you'll find a larger, more informative weather widget at the bottom of the list. It shows the three-day forecast, current time and weather. You can also look for third-party weather apps. Although LG's program has beautiful animations, it does not provide hourly forecasts.

  9. Volume control works as shortcut buttons

A smartphone cannot be called complete without various tricks to speed up working with the camera. In the LG G6, the volume control is responsible for this, or rather the part of it that reduces the sound. Double tapping during standby launches the camera app. Pressing the up button twice launches the LG QuickMemo Plus note-taking app. While this seems convenient, these actions can interfere with other functions and can sometimes be triggered accidentally when the sound volume changes. If desired, this functionality can be disabled at Settings > General > Shortcut Keys.

  10. Changing the shape and background of application icons

LG's modern user interface adds backgrounds to some app icons, creating a more unified home screen. If you are used to the previous appearance of application icons, you can undo these changes in the section Settings > Display > Home Screen > Icon Shape.

  11. Downloading new themes

Continuing the theme of user interface changes, LG gives you a choice of graphic themes for download. To access suggested themes, swipe down on the home screen and select Themes from the Themes menu that appears. You will see a number of pre-installed themes, and to download new ones, go to the Featured section or click on the arrow in the upper right corner. You may have to create a new account.

  12. Returning the list of applications

LG's user interface does not include an app list. All applications are located on the home screen, which suits many users. If you are not one of them, open Settings > Display > Home screen > Home screen and app list.

  13. Denying access to photos and videos

We all have materials on our smartphones that should not be seen by prying eyes. If these materials are in the form of photos and videos, you can block them from LG Gallery. Open your files folder, click on the three buttons in the upper right corner and select Block in the menu that appears. Next, users will be asked to set a password to protect their files. Once the password is set, the files will disappear from the gallery. You can access them through the team "Show blocked files" in the same menu with three dots. In this case, the files are displayed if the folder is opened using a file management application, but they cannot be opened.

  14. New gestures will allow you to search in applications

On any home screen, if you swipe down, the search bar will appear. It allows you to conduct deep searches within the software, including third-party applications like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. You can find Chrome bookmarks, Spotify singers, Twitter hashtags, and more. One drawback: the function is noticeably slow and does not display a complete list of results.

  15. Enable Comfort View at night

The blue light emitted from screens allegedly causes the brain to produce a hormone that interferes with sleep. That's why smartphones increasingly feature a blue filter that automatically turns on after sunset. In the LG G6, the filter is called Comfort View and is available in quick settings, after which the screen turns yellowish. It is especially useful when you work with your smartphone before bed.

Based on the test results, the LG G6 made a very good impression on us: its workmanship is of the highest quality, this smartphone fits well in the hand and is very convenient to use. The 5.7-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio fits well into the actual dimensions of the device. Despite its high performance, the LG G6 proves to be as durable as a real Finnish skier. Only the camera deserves slight criticism - although it is of a very high level.

Although the modularity of the G5 is not here, all is well with surprises in the new top-class smartphone from LG: the display is made in an unusual format with an aspect ratio of 18:9.

Performance and memory

The hardware here, with the exception of the 5.7-inch display, is little surprising. Even before the release of the smartphone, there was a lot of speculation that LG would equip its top-end mobile phone with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. However, now we can state: the G6 runs on Snapdragon 821.

On paper, this looks more like a drawback, but in practice, users most likely will not feel any difference: and this processor is more than enough for the device to not only quickly work with the operating system, but also with hardware-demanding applications, for example, modern games, coped quite easily. Based on our test results, we can give the LG G6 only the best marks for its performance.

Other equipment of the device we tested includes 4 GB of RAM and built-in storage with a capacity of 32 GB, of which approximately 23 GB are available for free use. If this space is not enough, you can store applications, games and other data on a MicroSD memory card.

Workmanship and fingerprint scanner

The workmanship of the LG G6 is first-class - nothing creaks here and does not look at all cheap. The modern-looking front panel is dominated by the display - LG managed to fit a 5.7-inch display into a relatively small space. Only a thin aluminum frame can interfere with some users, as it protrudes slightly above the surface of the screen. Although the light edging is not particularly noticeable to the eye, it can be felt if you rub it with your finger on top.

The fingerprint scanner located on the back of the device is interesting: unlike competitors such as Huawei, which build a “pure” sensor into their smartphones, LG uses a mechanical key with a short travel in the G6, which also serves as a Power button. The placement below the dual camera is well chosen and the button can be easily found by touch.

Display and battery

The 18:9 display, with its 1440x2880 pixels, offers excellent resolution and, at 425.0 cd/m2, which we measured, is also quite bright - but not on the same level as competitors such as its incredible 626.5 cd/m2. does not reach. And in other display-related evaluation categories such as Contrast and Color Space Coverage, the scores are at a high level, just shy of the best values.

We were initially concerned that the 3,300 mAh battery would drain too quickly due to the large display. However, the LG G6 impressively demonstrates here that screen diagonal in itself does not indicate anything about the length of battery life: during testing, the smartphone can withstand almost 13 hours of continuous use.

More quality with dual camera?

On the back of the LG G6 there is a dual camera that takes pictures with a resolution of 13 megapixels, with the second lens designed for taking exclusively wide-angle photos. In general, the resulting images look convincing, but the software sometimes interferes too much - to be more precise, first of all, soft rendering erases particularly fine structures. In daylight, this correction is still tolerable, but in low light, on the contrary, noise reduction works “to its fullest” - and you have to pay for it in image quality.

But all these small shortcomings cannot cover up the fact that in the case of the LG G6 we are talking about a truly top-end smartphone.

Note: LG G6 will appear on the market at the end of April at a manufacturer's recommended price of 52,000 rubles for the version with 64 GB of memory.

However, nothing new: the usual color rendition is not only for LG, but for any modern flagships in general. The only exceptions are Samsung and Motorola.

New - in sound! By and large, the flagship LG received a 32-bit Quad DAC DAC back in 2015, with the announcement of the V10. Then the sound migrated to the G6 and V20, but de facto had almost no effect on the sound quality of the smartphone. In G6 everything is completely different! The smartphone itself sounds not bad - not super-detailed, but the volume is already “adult”, low frequencies are slightly compressed, high frequencies are muffled, the “middle” sings in the ears. With the activation of the Quad DAC (LG is keeping quiet about which model is inside. There is a possibility that it is the same ESS ES9218, borrowed from the LG V20) the volume ceiling increases sharply, the detail increases so much that you begin to notice defects in MP3 files, the scene becomes wider, the lower parts “inflate”, but in moderation and do not hit the ears. A very good configuration for high-impedance monitor headphones.

But with vacuum “plugs”, your ears very soon begin to ring from excessive clear percussion and hissing sounds in vocals. It makes sense to get into the equalizer and make the sound a little softer. But when it comes to sound detail, it’s better to be “over-safe than under-safe”: if LG had a bad sound path with distortions and background noise, the “crankers” would definitely not have helped it out.

I would be careful to compare the LG G6 with the ZTE Axon 7 and its AKM AK4961, but with the Quad DAC activated, the hero of our test sounds much better than the Xiaomi Mi5s, OnePlus 3 or LeEco Le Pro 3. The superiority over the Galaxy S7 edge is no longer very great, but in high-quality files it will be noticeable that Samsung falls short a little.

The speaker is of high quality, about the same as in the Galaxy S7 or iPhone 7. The volume level is slightly above average, the low frequencies are not felt, there is no “meat” or drama. That’s not bad, but it’s a little annoying that in the LG G5 with the same dimensions, the speaker sounds louder, clearer, and bassier.

Iron

The performance of LG flagships is a three-year tragedy. In 2013 2014, LG was ahead of the curve with its Quad HD display in the G3, but only the Snapdragon 801 with so many points worked at its limit. Therefore, the smartphone did not shine with speed, but everyone understood that innovative technologies require sacrifices. In 2015, Qualcomm, to put it mildly, messed up with the overheating of its Snapdragon 810, so the LG G4 was forced to get a six-core “stump” with the index 808. It’s a sin to blame the Koreans for this - the MediaTek Helio X10 was even worse, and there were no other options.

The LG G6 is extremely interesting precisely because of its camera. After all, this is a completely different look at using two lenses. We have already seen examples of the Apple iPhone 7 Plus and ASUS Zenfone 3 Zoom using a second lens for optical zoom without loss of quality. There is also the example of Huawei, which in the P10/P10 Plus, Mate 9 and even smartphones produced under the Honor brand installs a monochrome sensor under the second lens.

LG took a different route, and, in our opinion, it is the most interesting from the point of view of mobile photography. “Zoom with your feet” has not yet been canceled, and the ability to get a spectacular shot using an ultra-wide-angle lens makes the smartphone useful when traveling, and when shooting architectural ensembles, and if you want to shoot interiors. And, of course, it’s fun to photograph people and animals using a wide angle. The shots will be, at a minimum, spectacular!

As is tradition, we started filming in good lighting conditions outside. It is interesting to note that our testing took place in various weather conditions. We were able to capture both a blooming and bright May, as well as a rainy and snowy May in the historic (!) 2017. By the way, the latter did not pose any problems for the LG G6 - the device is protected from dust and moisture and can withstand immersion under water to a depth of more than a meter. In this state, the smartphone can work for 30 minutes.

Let's get back to filming. In daylight conditions outdoors, the LG G6 performs well, pleasing with natural colors and high detail. Let us note some “oversharpening” in the photographs, which is clearly visible in 100% crop and can affect the overall perception of the photo. Overall, shots taken with the main 29mm (equiv.) lens look very good.

By pressing one button in the interface, you can quickly switch from the main lens to the ultra-wide-angle lens. Needless to say, the image obtained with an ultra-wide-angle lens is very different from the image of the main one: the space is collapsed, and many more objects enter the frame. However, do not forget about the lack of autofocus and the lower aperture of the second lens.

Just for fun, you can look at two photographs taken from the same shooting point to see the difference between the two focal lengths.

The LG smartphone doesn't have many shooting modes; Quite a lot of attention is paid to the manual mode, which resembles the interface of a DSLR camera. Additional scene scenes are available in basic shooting mode. Among them are three video modes - “Clips”, “Slow Motion” and “Time-Lapse”. There is an opportunity to shoot panoramas (regular and 360-degree) and make collages combined from the results of the work of two cameras. There is also a special mode “Shooting food”, because, as you know: “If you don’t take a picture, you don’t eat.”

Among the presented plot scenes, the most popular, in our opinion, will be “Panorama”. However, if you have a wide-angle lens, this mode may be needed much less often.

Interestingly, panoramic shooting can only be done with the smartphone in a vertical position, and here you need to choose between lenses. The results are equally good, but we liked the panorama shot with the wide-angle lens better.

The LG G6's main camera performs well when shooting indoors. Here, a fast lens, optical image stabilization and accurate autofocus come to the fore. If you switch to a wide-angle lens, you can quickly notice the lower aperture and the lack of autofocus with stabilization. In this case, the smartphone’s automation is forced to slightly increase the shutter speed and aperture in order to get a high-quality result, but blurring can easily appear and detail can “float.”

We especially enjoyed shooting with a wide-angle lens in the Moscow metro. This is not to say that the photos turned out perfect: at ISO above 200 a lot of noise appears. To take a high-quality image, you will have to accurately use a tripod and increase the shutter speed on manual settings. But you need to understand that no modern smartphone except the LG G6 can take a picture with such a wide angle.

When shooting in the dark, manual settings come to the fore. The ability to choose ISO and shutter speed is key here. When you shoot in the dark and in low light conditions, the main, faster lens copes well with the task: accurate focus and white balance selection. If you switch to a wide-angle lens, problems arise: the shutter speed should be higher, because, as we noted above, at ISO values greater than 200 the image begins to become very noisy. Finding the exact balance of settings and having a tripod with an adapter for a smartphone can save the photo.

The LG G6 has a two-color LED flash that illuminates the subject in the dark. Unfortunately, it doesn't work in the Lantern mode that we often see on other devices. The flash does its job perfectly, without overexposing the subject and working correctly with white balance. Note that this is true for both the main and wide-angle lenses.

As mentioned above, we used manual settings quite often. Firstly, historically (since the G4) LG has developed such a situation that the interface in this mode is very close to DSLR cameras. Secondly, images taken using automatic settings don't look as cool as photos taken with manual settings. This is, of course, subjective, but that’s how it seemed to us. Thirdly, in this mode it is possible to shoot files in RAW format and engage in their subsequent processing. However, it should be noted that images in DNG are still poorly supported by Adobe Lightroom: there are failures in determining the white balance and shades. The files are not very flexible and sometimes have trouble choosing the default color temperature. However, JPG files do not have such problems.

In manual settings, the histogram and level are visible, you can select white balance and manual focus, adjust ISO and shutter speed. At the top you can switch between regular and wide-angle lenses.
